Moving Beyond the Conscious Mind

Most people spend the vast majority of their lives operating from the power of their conscious mind. Unfortunately this is like to walking down a busy street with one eye closed – you only see half of what is actually there.

It makes sense that we are perpetual conscious mind listeners because this is what society tells us to be. In truth, however, we have two other areas of our mind that are far more apt to see the big picture and to create the life that we want: the subconscious and the superconscious.

Intimate Relationships Are An Inside Job

The ability to forge healthy intimate relationships, just like other areas in my life, hasn’t always come easily to me. After experiencing three devastating break ups, I began to take a closer look at why the end result was the same even when the partner was different. I soon realized that the only common denominator in all of my failed relationships was me.

Shedding Light on Abundance

Why is it that one man can have a large amount of monetary wealth and feel less than abundant while another man can have little to nothing and feel as if he has all the wealth in the world?

Abundance is a concept open to interpretation and without a defined set of parameters. So where do you stand on the abundance scale?

Let me begin by pointing out what may be obvious to some: abundance is not entirely about dollars and cents. There isn’t some magic number that makes someone abundant, it can be as much about happiness and contentment as it is about money. That’s one key reason why a poor man can recognize his abundance when a wealthy man can not.

Whether you are currently feeling over the top abundant or much less so, it’s important to figure out where your ideas of abundance came from. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your upbringing), you were probably given ideas about abundance from a very young age. Perhaps you heard the old saying, “Money doesn’t grow on trees.” If you’re told that often enough then you might now believe that achieving monetary wealth is extremely hard if not impossible.

How I Turned My Passion into Profits

business-increase-profitsFor most people, passion isn’t a prerequisite when settling on a career path or accepting a job. However, after many years of starting various businesses, I discovered that passion was an essential component in finding my own success. Today, it’s my compass in determining which path to take next.

I’ve been an entrepreneur as far back as I can remember. It began at the age of six when I purchased bracelets from locals while on a family vacation and later sold them to my classmates for a profit. Since then I’ve owned at least 15 businesses ranging from a used car lot to candy machines. Mixed in between were a few illegal endeavors which I’ve learned a lot from and would never do again.

Perhaps the main area of contention is the term law. Instead of talking about it as if it’s a tried and true scientific concept, it might be better to refer to it as exactly what it is: a way of putting you in alignment with what you want. In truth, it’s far simpler than most make it out to be.
