Whether you’re a seasoned web veteran or if you’ve just begun the process of marketing your business via the internet, you’ve probably noticed what a daunting task it can be to attract consumers and keep them coming back for more.
How I Turned My Passion into Profits
For most people, passion isn’t a prerequisite when settling on a career path or starting their own business. However, after many years of starting various businesses, I discovered that passion was an essential component in finding my own success. Today, it’s my compass in determining which path to take next.
I’ve been an entrepreneur as far back as I can remember. It began at the age of six when I purchased bracelets from locals while on a family vacation and later sold them to my classmates for a profit. Since then I’ve owned at least 15 businesses ranging from a used car lot to a full service marketing company. Mixed in between were a few illegal endeavors which I’ve learned a lot from and would never do again.
Shedding Light on Abundance
Abundance is a concept open to interpretation and without a defined set of parameters. So where do you stand on the abundance scale?
Let me begin by pointing out what may be obvious to some: abundance is not entirely about dollars and cents. There isn’t some magic number that makes someone abundant, it can be as much about happiness and contentment as it is about money. That’s one key reason why a poor man can recognize his abundance when a wealthy man can not.
Whether you are currently feeling over the top abundant or much less so, it’s important to figure out where your ideas of abundance came from. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your upbringing), you were probably given ideas about abundance from a very young age. Perhaps you heard the old saying, “Money doesn’t grow on trees.” If you’re told that often enough then you might now believe that achieving monetary wealth is extremely hard if not impossible.

How to Incorporate Branding into Your Business
While opinions differ greatly on this topic there are a few tips that might help your business out in successfully branding your products or name:
Get Ready for a New You in this New Year
There is no time like the present, especially when it comes to reflecting on yourself and making lasting changes.
It is the new year, after all.
Last year, I held an unbelievable teleseminar called “New Year, New You” and it was so popular—and profound—that we’re going to repeat it again this new year.
More specifically, it’s going to be held on January 19th, 2010 at 4pm Pacific/7pm Eastern.
New Year’s Resolutions Part 2: Keeping Them

Millions upon millions of people create New Year’s Resolutions, but far fewer stick to them for more than a few days or weeks.
In fact, I came upon this interesting article:

How To Make 2010 Your Best Year Yet
Creating your dream life has two main components: celebrating where you are, and planning for where you’re going.
For celebrating where you are, sit down and write a list of every single person, place, thing, or experience you’re grateful for. Smile when you do it, because it feels good.
For planning for where you’re going, do just that: write out a detailed list of your goals for 2010 and exactly how you are going to achieve them. Create a vision board with words and images to make them come alive.
